After two years of COVID-19, the 130th Canton Fair was officially held from October 15th to October 19th. The holding of the Canton Fair not only demonstrated China’s confidence in the prevention and control of the epidemic, but also demonstrated the rapid recovery and rapid development of China’s economy to the world.
This time the Canton Fair opened the ABC Pavilion, with 1-16 main exhibition areas, covering various industries such as hardware tools, energy, office, vehicle & machinery, electronic products, consumer goods, gifts, shoes and clothing, and medicine. Major domestic producers and traders all participated in the exhibition.
China is a country with a relatively complete industrial production system. Thanks to strong measures to prevent and control the epidemic, production in all walks of life has recovered well. On October 13, data released by the State Council Information Office showed that China’s total import and export of goods in the first three quarters of 21 years was 28.33 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.7%. Among them, exports were 15.55 trillion yuan, an increase of 22.7%; imports were 12.78 trillion yuan, an increase of 22.6%. Compared with the same period in 2019, China’s foreign trade imports and exports, exports, and imports increased by 23.4%, 24.5% and 22% respectively.
Due to the spread of foreign epidemics, there are not so many foreign buyers visiting this exhibition. Therefore, the Canton Fair this time adopted a combination of offline exhibitions and online live broadcasts to simultaneously broadcast live to foreign buyers who were unable to participate in the exhibition.
In addition, while our country focuses on foreign trade exports, we also vigorously develop internal circulation, and domestic sales of exported products. So this time there are also many domestic buyers to participate in the exhibition.
Our manager Wei and Zhang went to the exhibition site. In the past two years, our grain processing machine exports have also maintained an annual growth rate of 15%.
